Main advantages
In many cases the window bar usage is necessary as they give buildings an unique shape, enable the preservation of window sections in old buildings. Moreover they have many advantages: they are situated between panes. They don’t need maintenance and cleaning, they are light. The bars are available in a wide range of colours. They can have different shapes (arcs, circles, conjunctions at different angles).

Applications
Window bars are widely used especially in house building industry:

• new house building –they are often used because of their aesthetic advantages: they form divisions in the windows making building architecture more attractive and imparting  an appropriate  sense to it.
• restoration of old buildings  - bars are ideal to preserve keep small divisions of old windows, at the same time enabling installation of bigger comfortable window sashes.

Construction

There are two basic types of window bars: "bars inside of the panes for milling" – these are metal elements inside of an insulated glass pane. They  are available in many colour variants and several profile widths.

"Duplex", also called Viennese or blank bars, are made of SWISSPACER material or aluminium.  When on the external surface of the pane -  on its both sides-  special profiles are fixed  to achieve a precise division, Duplex should be inside of the pane. It eliminates the effect of „desert under the external section”.

Characteristics
Window bar divisions are available upon individual request of customers. By ordering insulated glass panes remember that a minimal width of the space frame with bars are used is 12 mm. In some weather conditions (high air pressure) non-observance of this parameter leads to potential contact of the pane with the bar causing low-emission coat damage or even pane breakage.
In some cases natural vibrations of aluminium stick – window bar – can cause an effect of „window bar clang” for example while opening or closing the window or even during wind blows.
