Main advantages
CLIMAPLUS PROTECT is an insulated glass pane which provides different levels of anti-burglar protection depending on its construction. At the same time CLIMAPLUS PROTECT glass reduces the risk of injury with glass pieces in the case of its breakage and risk of falling out in the case of its breakage glass pieces are bonded in PVB film, the hole remains closed or it is minimized.
Due to the fact, that standard glass which provides protective function is thicker than the second one in the kit and contains PVB coat having some sound-absorbing characteristics CLIMAPLUS PROTECT is characterized by better parameters of noise protection. Products belonging to the PROTECT range filtrate most of the UV rays. They enable to have maximal protection of all furniture elements being exposed to fading under the influence of sun rays (i.e. shop windows, curtains, carpets).

Applications                                                        

CLIMA PLUS PROTECT double panes are used in building elevation, window and external door glazing when it is necessary to provide property protection according to  project requirements or legal regulations being in force.

Construction

One of two kit components is STADIP PROTECT safe laminated glass pane. It consists of two or more glass panes. There are several layers of PVB (polyvinyl butyral) coat between the panes. The coat is highly resistant to breakage, its one layer has nominal thickness of 0.38mm. 

Characteristics

CLIMAPLUS PROTECT panes provide the function of burglary risk reduction. Due to increased sense of security this kit is often chosen by customers.
Insulated glass has appropriate protection class depending on the construction of a laminated pane included in CLIMAPLUS PROTECT pane. Definitions of appropriate protection classes are defined in the standard PN-EN 356 defining a strength test which a pane should pass to achieve a certain class. The test is performed with single or repeated strike of steel ball with mass of 4.11 kg loosely falling down from a certain altitude:

The examples of applications (depending on protection class of the pane) which are helpful during the choice of appropriate glazing are as follows. 

CLIMAPLUS PROTECT insulated glass panes are characterized by usually higher thickness and weight than standard insulated glass panes due to the fact they include STADIP laminated glass pane.
Using the windows which have to be characterized by a certain protection level you should bear in mind that besides the pane reducing the burglary risk it is important to adapt the rest of elements of the window to the security requirements: burglar proof fittings, appropriate window sections, appropriate window installation in the opening and pane installation in the frame (after several strikes a burglar can’t make a big hole in the pane while the whole pane is extracted from the frame).
Insulated glass panes containing SILENCE laminated pane protecting from noise have the same protection class as standard STADIP laminated glass panes with similar construction (thickness of the panes and coat).
