Applications
SGG CLIMAPLUS SAFE insulated glass panes should be used in the places which are at risk of injury with pieces of broken glass. You should remember this especially in the places where the children play or do sports:

• windows near playgrounds, ei. football, basketball stadiums
• kidergartens, schools 
• gymnasiums

Construction
CLIMAPLUS SAFE pane consists of safe laminated or tempered glass. The principle of operation is different but both these types of glass increase protection from injury. STADIP pane with laminated glass - in the case of breakage of such pane the coat holds the pieces of broken glass reducing injury risk. The pane with tempered glass SECURIT is characterized by five times higher resistance against soft body strikes than a standard pane (it is very resistant against breakage with a ball or humsn body). In the case of its breakage SECURIT pane breaks into small pieces with obtuse angles which don’t cause serious body  injuries.

Characteristics

Insulated glass pane consists of two or three integral glass panes. A user should estimate from which side of the window/pane there is a risk of injury. On this side it is necessary to use secure kind of glass. Tempered glass panes are especially recommended for usage in sports buildings. The fact that for example basketball boards or boards on hockey ice rinks are made of these panes prove their resistance.
